Sandra Germay – Naturopathy & Homeopathic Support

By booking, purchasing, or using the services of Ms Sandra Germay (“Sandra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“you,” “client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

 

1. Eligibility

You confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or over, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • You are seeking services for non-urgent, non-emergency concerns only.

  • You understand that if you access these services from outside Hong Kong, you are responsible for ensuring that doing so is lawful in your own country or territory.

 

 

2. Nature and Scope of Services

Sandra Germay holds a BSc in Homeopathy from the United Kingdom and completed the Advanced Practitioner of Clinical Naturopathy in Australia. However, she is not a licensed medical doctor, and does not diagnose disease, prescribe medication, or manage medical treatment.

Sandra Germay offers consultations and provides naturopathic and homeopathic support to individuals seeking to improve general wellbeing, vitality, lifestyle balance and long-term health resilience, including those living with chronic or long-term health conditions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• These services are educational, complementary and wellness-focused only.
• They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
• They are not a substitute for care from a licensed medical practitioner.
• No guarantees, cures or outcomes are promised.

 

 

3. Medical Responsibility

You agree that:

  • You remain at all times under the care of your General Practitioner, physician or other licensed healthcare professional.

  • You will not change, suspend or discontinue any prescribed treatment or medication without consulting the prescribing professional.

  • If Sandra Germay becomes aware of symptoms that may suggest a medical condition, this does not constitute a diagnosis, and you are directed to seek advice from a licensed physician promptly.

 

 

4. Client Responsibilities

Pre-Consultation Forms:


To allow adequate preparation and ensure your session is as helpful as possible, you agree to complete and submit any required pre-consultation or intake forms at least two (2) working days before your appointment. If this information is not received in time, the consultation may be less comprehensive or may need to be rescheduled.

You acknowledge that:

  • Sandra Germay relies on the truth, accuracy and completeness of the information you provide.

  • You are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and health history.

  • Any dietary changes, supplements or lifestyle recommendations you choose to follow are entirely your responsibility.

 

 

5. Privacy, Confidentiality & Data Protection

As part of the services, you may be asked to provide personal and health-related information, including medical history, lifestyle, diet, and wellbeing data.

We commit to the following:

  • Your information is collected solely for the purpose of providing services and supporting your wellbeing.

  • All information is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

  • Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including:

    • Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO)

    • UK GDPR / EU GDPR (where applicable)

    • Australian Privacy Act (where applicable)

 

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

6. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation

7. Acknowledgement of Risk

You acknowledge that:

  • Complementary and wellness-based services involve personal choices, lifestyle changes and self-directed decisions.

  • You voluntarily participate in these services and accept responsibility for your own health decisions.

 

This acknowledgement does not waive any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer or negligence laws.

8. Right to Decline or Terminate Services

Sandra Germay reserves the right to decline, suspend or terminate services where:

  • It is considered to be in your best interests

  • The matter falls outside the practitioner’s scope of practice

  • Professional, ethical or boundary issues arise

 

Where appropriate, you may be referred to another professional.

9. Appointments, Cancellations & Fees

  • A minimum of 36 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 36 hours’ notice may be charged at 75% of the scheduled fee.

  • If Sandra Germay cancels or reschedules, you will be offered an alternative appointment or refund where applicable.

10. Digital Products, Refunds & Consumer Rights

  • Digital products are generally not refundable once accessed or downloaded.

  • This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including where digital content is defective, misdescribed or not as supplied.

  • Where a refund is required by law, it will be provided in accordance with those legal requirements.

11. Affiliate Disclosure

You acknowledge that:

  • If you purchase products or services through affiliate links on balancewise.me, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

  • Affiliate relationships do NOT influence professional recommendations, which are provided in good faith.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence, including but not limited to:

  • Hong Kong consumer protection legislation

  • UK Consumer Rights Act

  • EU consumer protection directives

Where these Terms conflict with non-excludable statutory rights, the law will prevail.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

However, if you are a consumer located in another jurisdiction and applicable consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local law, those rights are not excluded.
